Management Case Study Competition
Submission Deadline Extended - All
submissions must be received by DECEMBER 15, 2008.
In conjunction with OMG's BPM Consortium, the OMG and BPTrends will join to recognize
companies that are demonstrating an outstanding understanding of BPM.
Winners will be announced January 26, 2009. Recognition and awards
will be given at the OMG Technical Meeting in Washington, DC March
23-27, 2009.
Three awards will be given:

Best Overall BPM Application
This award will go to the application that demonstrates the
best use of current BPM concepts and techniques to solve a
company's problem. The solution can involve a process
architecture, a process performance measurement system, or a
major redesign project. The solution need not involve
software, but it will likely have a significant software
component. |

Best BPM Application that demonstrates
the use of one or more business process standards
(e.g. UML Activity Diagrams, BPMN, BPDM, BPEL, BPMM, BMM,
BPSB, SCOR)
This award will go to the application that demonstrates how one
or more business process standards, or the technologies
employing those standards, can contribute to process improvement
at a company. The application solution based on BPEL, for
example. |

BPM Application that Demonstrates the Best Return on
Investment
This award will go to the application that demonstrates the
most impressive ROI on a business process change effort. |
